Enterprise proxy and scraping infrastructure

Last updated August 19, 2026
The take

Top-tier proxy and scraping infrastructure that earns its premium at scale, and punishes you for buying it at small volume.

Great for

Enterprise data teams running 50GB+/month of residential traffic on defended targets, who need compliance docs and a dedicated account manager.

The catch

The headline $2.50/GB rate needs a $2,500/mo commitment. Below that, you pay $6 to $8 per GB and cheaper rivals match the success rate.

Bottom line

Reach for it when volume and compliance justify the premium. Under 20GB a month, Decodo or IPRoyal get you there for a fraction of the cost.

What you're actually getting

Oxylabs bundles several ways to pull public web data: 175M+ residential IPs across 195 countries, datacenter, ISP, and mobile proxies, a Web Scraper API that bills only for successful pulls, a Web Unblocker for sites that block bots, pre-collected datasets you can buy outright, and an AI Studio that returns clean, AI-ready text.

The honest boundary: this is infrastructure priced for enterprise buyers. It removes most of the proxy and CAPTCHA pain, and you still own the question, the data fields you want, the quality checks, and the lawful use of whatever comes back.

Founded in Vilnius in 2015, part of the Tesonet venture-builder group, and backed by a $130M Warburg Pincus round in July 2026 at a $3.6B valuation. ISO 27001 certified, GDPR-aligned, KYC-required on every account.

Where it earns its keep

The strong use cases are bounded, repeatable questions at volume: competitor pricing across thousands of SKUs, SERP collection for a fixed market, ad verification, review monitoring. When target sites fight back, the Web Unblocker and managed scraper APIs are where it pays off, because you are not maintaining a proxy pool and CAPTCHA solver yourself.

The Web Scraper API uses success-based billing. Failed attempts are free, which makes forecasting simpler than credit models where one hard target quietly costs many times a simple one.

Proxyway gave Oxylabs its Most Scalable Provider award in 2026 and a 10/10 rating. An AIMultiple benchmark found its mobile proxies the most reliable tested, with 90 to 98 percent success rates. G2 sits at 4.5/5 across ~172 reviews, with support scoring 9.3.

Where it'll bite you

Price is the loudest complaint, and it is real. The $2.50/GB headline needs a $2,500/mo commitment for 1TB. The Starter plan is $30/mo for 5GB at $6/GB. Pay-as-you-go runs ~$8/GB. Below roughly 50GB a month, the premium buys you very little that Decodo or IPRoyal do not also deliver for a fraction of the cost.

Monthly minimums are not obvious on the pricing page. Multiple community threads describe buyers budgeting for 5GB and landing on a larger floor. Ask sales for the minimum in writing before you sign anything, and factor in VAT (21% in Lithuania) if your jurisdiction applies it.

Support is tiered. Enterprise accounts get a dedicated account manager and fast escalation. Smaller plans get ticket-based support with inconsistent response times. Trustpilot sits at 3.7/5 across ~722 reviews, with billing disputes, refund friction, and KYC delays as the recurring complaints. Test support responsiveness during the trial by submitting a ticket on day one.

Yonas provided excellent technical support for a complex and persistent ERR_TUNNEL_CONNECTION_FAILED issue. He patiently guided me through multiple troubleshooting steps, including successful cURL verification. When the browser still failed due to the IP being blocked by Google, Yonas made crucial internal changes on the server side which finally resolved the problem. His expertise in diagnosing the server-side routing was exceptional.

What it costs, really

Residential proxies run on monthly commitment tiers: $30/mo for 5GB ($6/GB) on Starter, $100/mo for 20GB ($5/GB) on Basic, $500/mo for 125GB ($4/GB) on Advanced, and $2,500/mo for 1TB ($2.50/GB) on Corporate. The per-GB rate drops as you commit more, but there is no comfortable middle ground for a team using 50 to 80GB a month.

The Web Scraper API is the easier sell at small scale: $49/mo for up to 98,000 results (~$0.50/1K), $99/mo for ~220,000, and $249/mo for 622,500. Success-based billing means you pay only for delivered results. All prices are exclusive of VAT.

amazing customer service. I've never received help this fast and this detailed. Quite amazing. As long as internet speed stability holds up, I feel like I'm going to stay a customer forever.
