AI search analytics for brands

Last updated August 23, 2026
The take

The cleanest AI-visibility dashboard for mid-market teams that want daily data and published pricing, as long as three engines is enough.

Great for

Marketing teams and agencies that want to see how AI engines talk about their brand across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, with source-level citation data they can act on.

The catch

Every self-serve plan caps you at three engines. Tracking a fourth costs $35 to $165 extra per month, and Claude plus GPT-5 Search are locked to Enterprise.

Bottom line

Reach for it when your team has the content resources to act on what the dashboard shows. If you need the tool to tell you what to do next, this is the wrong shelf.

What you're actually getting

Peec AI is a monitoring dashboard for AI search. You define the prompts your buyers ask, pick your engines, and it runs them daily, reporting your visibility percentage, position, sentiment, and which sources the models cite.

The architecture is UI scraping, not API calls. Peec simulates real user sessions on each answer engine, which the company claims produces results closer to what an actual searcher would see.

Every paid plan includes unlimited seats and an MCP server, so you can pull your data straight into Claude or Cursor from day one. That is unusual at this price point and a real differentiator for agent-heavy teams.

Peec makes it extremely easy to understand how your brand appears in LLM answers. The dashboards are fast, the visibility metrics are clear, and the alerts help us react quickly to shifts. For teams getting started with GEO, it removes a lot of guesswork.

Where it earns its keep

It earns its place when AI search is a real channel for your pipeline, not a curiosity. The daily tracking cadence means you catch visibility shifts before they show up in your analytics, and the source-level citation data tells you exactly which third-party domains the models trust in your category.

The citation gap analysis is the feature that pays for itself. When you can see that Reddit threads, G2 reviews, or editorial publications dominate your category's AI answers, your PR and content strategy gets a concrete target instead of a hunch.

The company behind it is young but funded. Peec launched in Berlin in early 2025, has raised $29M including a $21M Series A, and reports 3,000+ brands and agencies on the platform. Real traction for a young category.

Für kleinere Unternehmen ist Peec AI vermutlich ein Brocken. Für uns lohnt's sich, weil wir strategisch arbeiten, aber wer nur zwei Prompts im Monat tracken will, ist hier overpowered.

Where it'll bite you

The three-engine cap is the trap. Starter, Pro, and Advanced all force you to pick three engines from seven. ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews cover most bases, but if you need Copilot, Gemini, and Grok too, you are paying $35 to $165 per extra engine per month on top of your plan. Claude and GPT-5 Search are Enterprise-only at custom pricing.

It measures visibility. It does not improve it. This is the most consistent critique across reviews and community threads. Peec tells you where you appear and where you do not, but it offers no content recommendations, no optimization guidance, and no execution layer. You need a separate content team or tool to close the gaps it finds.

It is a young platform. Peec was founded in early 2025, so track record, roadmap stability, and long-term reliability are unproven next to older SEO analytics suites. Full engine coverage, API access, and SSO also sit behind a custom Enterprise contract.

I find Peec AI easy to use and fairly straightforward. It's the best tool for measuring how we show up in AI overviews and understanding how people are searching for us.

What it costs, really

Three self-serve tiers, all published: $95/mo Starter, $245/mo Pro, $495/mo Advanced. Annual billing knocks off about 15%. Enterprise is a custom quote. There is a 7-day free trial with no credit card required, but no standing free plan.

The sticker price is not the whole story. Extra engines cost $35 to $165 each per month depending on your tier, and the Looker Studio connector needs Advanced at $495/mo minimum. Agency plans run $245 to $795/mo on a credit model. Price your engine coverage and project count before comparing headline numbers, because the gap between three engines and full coverage is where the real cost hides.

I'd love more insights about how LLMs pick their sources and an easier way to extract sources.
