Instantly
Cold email at scale
Cold email at scale for one flat price, worth it only if someone owns deliverability every single day.
Outbound teams who want unlimited inboxes and warmup under one subscription, plus a 450M lead database to feed the sequences.
Deliverability is not set and forget. Domains can slide into spam around week three, warmup pool placement is the weak spot, and support has slowed as they scaled.
Reach for it when you send high volume and have a person watching inbox health daily. If nobody owns that, the invoice buys you spam-foldered mail.
What you're actually getting
Instantly is a cold email machine with deliverability tooling wrapped around it. Connect and rotate unlimited email accounts under one plan, and every account gets built-in warmup to build sender reputation.
On top sit multi-step campaigns, A/Z testing, a unified Unibox for replies across all accounts, and analytics that track pipeline instead of just opens.
The data side is a separate product. A 450M B2B lead database with waterfall enrichment and verification feeds your lists, and you buy those credits apart from the sending plan.
Don't try to warm up on your own. Take a simple tool like Instantly or Warmy, let it run for a month, and that's it.
Where it earns its keep
The core pitch holds up. Unlimited accounts and warmup for a flat fee is genuinely cheap once you run many domains, and reviewers who switched report similar numbers to the pricier tools they left.
It earns its keep as pure sending infrastructure. Once inboxes are properly warmed, the campaign engine and Unibox handle high volume without drama.
Top tiers add the SISR system, which auto-assigns dedicated IP blocks and swaps flagged ones, so heavy senders get real reputation protection.
the bad pool problem is real but it's almost always triggered by … too many inboxes warming up on the basic plan at once … instantly's support has genuinely gotten worse as they've scaled … the platform itself still works fine for sending once your inboxes are properly warmed … The warmup system is the weakest part of the product right now
Where it'll bite you
Warmup is the weakest part of the product. New inboxes, especially many started at once on a lower plan, get deprioritized and land in a bad pool, and climbing out can take days of spam-foldered mail.
Support has degraded as they grew. Fixes that used to be same-day now run three to five days, and users report generic canned replies. Budget for that lag before a launch depends on it.
Ownership is the quiet trap. Domains bought through Instantly reportedly cannot be transferred out, and users describe losing enriched contacts after canceling. Keep your contact data in a separate system and export weekly.
Last year i was sending around 10k emails through Instantly, the deliverability ratio was more accurate and most importantly the support was great … I immediately upgraded my plan … only for instantly to keep me in the same bad pool for over 2 days. the support staff told me it will be manually done … I wish i had tried out a different platform
What it costs, really
Sending starts at $47/mo for Growth, then $97 for Hypergrowth and $358 for Light Speed, which adds the SISR system. Annual billing knocks off about 10 percent, and Enterprise is a custom quote.
The database is priced separately, from $47/mo for lead credits, or you take a Bundle from $94/mo that combines sending and data. Your real bill rides on emails per month and credits burned, so size both meters before you commit.
teh data ownership thing is brutal. Lost 3 months of enriched contacts when we switched sequencers last year. Now we keep everything separate, Prospeo for the contact data, Close for CRM, Instantly just for sending. Export everything weekly just in case
I think Instantly selling you a domain and then not letting you transfer it is criminal … all we can do is leave and let the world know to do business somewhere else.
Same job, other tools
