AI B2B revenue analytics and attribution

Last updated August 23, 2026
The take

The heavyweight of B2B revenue analytics: a real single source of truth for teams with budget and a RevOps owner, a spaceship for everyone else.

Great for

Well-funded B2B teams that want attribution, account intelligence, and buyer journeys in one platform, with a person to run it.

The catch

Steep learning curve and heavy setup. It needs clean CRM data and a RevOps owner, or you have paid for dashboards people ignore.

Bottom line

Reach for it when marketing, sales, and product disagree on the numbers and you can act on the signals. Custom-priced and starts high.

What you're actually getting

HockeyStack unifies go-to-market data. It pulls website behavior, ad channels, CRM, and product usage into one shared view, then splits into Marketing Intelligence (multi-touch attribution, buyer-path analytics, lift modeling) and Account Intelligence (account scoring, stakeholder mapping, sales workflows).

It leans hard on AI and automation. There is a natural-language analyst you can question, live dashboards, an MCP server for connecting AI agents, and workflows that trigger actions in other tools.

This is an analytics-plus-operations layer for GTM leaders, closer to a control room than a simple reporting tool.

If you got the budget go with hockestack, recently they added a ton of features and better ui, if youre watching expense, red track or user maven is great option for overall attribution and ad tracking.

Where it earns its keep

With real budget, real ad spend, and an owner, HockeyStack pays off as a single source of truth. Multi-touch attribution across long journeys, account-level thinking, and LinkedIn and ad tracking are the repeated strengths, along with support reviewers rate highly.

Practitioners comparing it to Dreamdata put both at the top for B2B because they measure multi-touch and account-level, not last-click. If marketing, sales, and product each have their own numbers, this is the category that fixes it.

The top b2b attribution platforms currently are dreamdata, segmentstream, hockeystack, ruler (in no particular order!).

Where it'll bite you

Complexity is the first trap. Reviews repeatedly flag a steep learning curve and time-consuming setup, and more than one person calls it a spaceship when they wanted something easy to run. Plan for a RevOps owner, not a marketer doing it on the side.

Signals are not pipeline. One practitioner put it bluntly: these get sold as marketing tools when they are really sales tools, and more alerts will not save a team that already struggles to convert. HockeyStack tells you what is happening; someone still has to act on it.

These tools get sold as marketing tools when they should get sold as sales tools... if your sales team is struggling to convert and close demo requests that are coming in, having them go chase contacts based on signals isn't going to help.

What it costs, really

HockeyStack does not publish prices. Third-party analysis puts the base platform around $2,200/mo, a median near $28,000/yr, and some listings citing entry tiers from roughly $1,399/mo. Onboarding for complex integrations can add $5,000 to $15,000.

The driver is monthly tracked users plus the modules you enable, so you will not know your number until after a demo. If your average deal is under $10,000 or budget is tight, the math rarely works.

Dreamdata and HockeyStack tend to work best for B2B because they are built around multi touch and account level thinking but they still need clean CRM data and some upfront setup.
