Dreamdata
B2B revenue attribution and activation
The B2B attribution tool that finally ties a LinkedIn campaign to a deal six months later, if your CRM data is clean and your budget clears five figures.
B2B marketers with long, multi-touch cycles who need to prove which channels drove pipeline, with LinkedIn attribution a standout.
The numbers are only as good as your CRM. It needs clean pipeline data and a real tracking setup before it tells you anything trustworthy.
Reach for it when proving marketing's revenue impact is a board-level problem. The free tier is web analytics; real attribution is custom-priced.
What you're actually getting
Dreamdata is a B2B attribution platform. It pulls from your ad platforms, website, CRM, and marketing automation, resolves anonymous traffic to companies via IP-to-company matching, and builds a full journey for each account: every touch, every contact, every stage.
On top it runs attribution models that tie revenue and pipeline back to specific channels and campaigns. It lives next to your CRM and ad stack and moves data between them.
There is a genuinely free tier for B2B web analytics and company identification. The AI-based attribution, larger data volumes, and audience activation are the paid product.
From what I have seen, Dreamdata and HockeyStack tend to work best for B2B because they are built around multi touch and account level thinking but they still need clean CRM data and some upfront setup.
Where it earns its keep
The sweet spot is long, messy B2B journeys with many touchpoints and several people from one account. Run Google, LinkedIn, Meta, and offline events into one funnel and Dreamdata makes sense of it. Practitioners single out LinkedIn attribution.
It also works in reverse. You can build audiences from journey data and push them back into your ad platforms.
For European buyers, Dreamdata being EU-based and EU-hosted comes up as a genuine reason to shortlist it over US-only tools.
The top b2b attribution platforms currently are dreamdata, segmentstream, hockeystack, ruler (in no particular order!).
Where it'll bite you
Clean CRM data is the price of entry. It needs a solid pixel implementation and data mapping before the numbers are trustworthy. Without someone owning CRM hygiene, you get confident-looking attribution built on junk, so budget internal time, not only license cost.
It is not cheap, and reviewers say so. The attribution product people actually buy is custom-quoted, and some teams move to lighter tools once they see the bill. Price a pilot against your own data before you assume the ROI is there.
We are using Spectacle for this, it connects to ad networks, website and crm and gives us full funnel attribution at a fraction of the cost of dreamdata. Very very happy with it, especially the linkedin attribution.
What it costs, really
The free plan is $0 and covers B2B web analytics, company identification, and audiences, with two months of history and five seats. Paid Activation and Attribution is custom-quoted only.
Third-party listings put an Activation Starter tier around $750/mo, with full deployments commonly $15,000 to $28,000/yr and higher for larger teams. Billing is annual, so treat it as a sales conversation. The cost driver is tracked users and the depth of attribution and activation you enable.
I don't want a tool that lives outside of my CRM (Salesforce)... being as we're in Europe and we want to prioritze EU companies Dreamdata is also being considered.
Same job, other tools
