Arcads
AI actors for winning ad video
The most convincing AI-actor UGC ad generator on the market, if you can stomach paying $110 before you see a single clip and burning credits on the ones that don't land.
Funded performance teams and agencies who need to test 10+ hook variations a week on Meta and TikTok, and who already have a video editor for final assembly.
No free trial, no public pricing. You pay $110 before you can generate anything, and credits burn on unusable output with refunds denied by default.
Reach for it when paid ad spend dwarfs the subscription and actor realism is the bottleneck. Skip it if you're still testing the AI UGC category.
What you're actually getting
Arcads is a script-to-video clip generator. You write a script, pick an AI actor from a library of 1,000+, and it renders a UGC-style talking-head video that reads as a real creator on TikTok and Meta.
The scope is deliberately narrow. It makes the clip, not the campaign. No timeline editor, no B-roll library, no music selection, no direct publish to ad platforms. You export the MP4 and assemble the rest in CapCut or Premiere.
The product is actively iterating on the newest video models. Seedance 2.5 went live in August 2026 with a launch promo, alongside Sora 2 Pro, Kling, and Nano Banana. That cadence is a real signal of ongoing development in a category full of stalled tools.
Cost: We pay about $200/real UGC. On Arcads we pay $3-7. Time: time to get footage for a real UGC ad is about 3 weeks on average. An AI ad on Arcads about 3 minutes. Quality: our best UGC creators were DEFINITELY better than the Arcads creators. BUT Arcads creators let us test new angles 10x faster and are taking up a healthy % of ad spend. I was disappointed we didn't lean harder and faster into AI ads.
Where it earns its keep
The win is iteration volume. At roughly $11 per finished clip, testing 20 hook variations in a week becomes a normal motion instead of a special project.
The actor library is the headline asset. 1,000+ AI actors you filter by gender, age, and setting, plus 30+ language localization with re-synced lip movement.
Performance marketers running real paid social budgets report it pays off when creative variation is the lever. Teams running real paid social budgets treat variation itself as the lever: more clips tested per week means faster signal on what actually converts.
Good idea, but not quite there yet. The biggest issue for me was the pricing model. The basic plan gives only 10 credits, which means you have to plan every prompt in advance. AI still makes mistakes, and every fix costs more credits. Expensive for what you get, credits disappear fast, slow workflow, output still looks very AI-generated. My rating: 3/5.
Where it'll bite you
The credit-burn trap is the #1 risk. Credits are consumed on generation, including outputs you discard. Refunds are denied by default for "I don't like the output" cases. Trustpilot sits at 3.1/5 across 92 reviews, split almost evenly between five-star performance stories and one-star refund and quality complaints.
No free trial means you pay to evaluate. The cheapest door is $110 for 10 videos, and you will not know if the realism works for your product until you have spent some of those credits. Multiple reviewers describe successful bank chargebacks after being denied refunds.
Non-English quality is broken, according to multiple reviewers. Non-English output gets flagged as broken by multiple reviewers. The tool is built for English-language UGC first. Physical product demos also fall flat, since AI actors cannot reliably hold or demonstrate a real product.
Been testing Arcads lately for AI generated UGC workflows and the most interesting part to me is the iteration speed. Being able to rapidly test different hooks, scripts, creators, and ad angles without organizing full production shoots changes the creative process quite a bit. That said, I was not fully satisfied with the initial output quality for the price point yet, so I stopped using it for now. At around $110/month for the basic subscription, I think the space still has a lot of room to improve in terms of realism, creative control, and overall value.
What it costs, really
Arcads publishes no pricing page. Every version of arcads.ai/pricing returns a 404, and numbers appear only after you create an account and hit the in-app paywall. The figures here are third-party-reported and cross-confirmed across 6+ independent audits through August 2026.
Starter runs ~$110/mo for 10 videos (~$11 each). Creator doubles that to ~$220/mo for 20 videos. Pro is custom (~$385-$550/mo cited) and is the only tier with API access, custom actor cloning, and team seats. Credits do not roll over, and premium models burn 1-2 credits per output, so your effective video count is often lower than the headline number.
