# Cal.com

Prospect-ready booking pages like Calendly, but open source, so you can run it on your own servers.

The most polished open-source booking tool, close enough to Calendly that prospects will not notice a difference. The catch is that running the free version yourself takes real IT work, and the features teams actually want, such as single sign-on and higher seat counts, sit behind paid plans.

## Project facts

- **License:** MIT
- **Repo:** https://github.com/calcom/cal.diy
- **Stars:** 47.8k
- **Language:** TypeScript

## What it does

- Public booking pages synced live with Google, Outlook, and other calendars, so double-booking stops being your problem
- Round-robin and pooled team scheduling, so inbound demo requests distribute across reps automatically
- Automated reminders, confirmations, and follow-ups over email and text message, which cuts no-shows on booked demos
- Built-in video calls plus Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams, so the right meeting link lands in every invite
- Payment collection through Stripe, handy for paid consults, audits, or coaching sessions
- Brandable and embeddable on your own site, so the booking step stays on your domain and on-brand

## What it can't do

- Replace your day-to-day calendar; it handles bookings only, so your team still lives in Google Calendar or Outlook
- Provide single sign-on and company-wide admin controls on the free version; those come with paid team plans
- Book by day or date range out of the box; it thinks in time slots and durations, so unusual formats need workarounds
- Relocate easily once set up; moving a self-hosted instance to a new address often means restoring from backup
