Bright Data vs Oxylabs

Web data collection and scraping  vs  Enterprise proxy and scraping infrastructure. Specs, capabilities, and what real users said in the last year, lined up.

The verdict

Bright Data is the broader, more productized data platform: proxy networks plus Web Unlocker, scraper APIs, managed browsers, and a huge ready-made dataset catalog. Oxylabs is the enterprise-shaped infrastructure play: a massive 175M+ IP pool and solid scraper APIs with compliance posture, thinner on extras. Both are pay-as-you-go and get cheap only at volume; Bright Data covers more jobs out of the box, Oxylabs competes on scale and service.

Both sell unblocking power at scale. The split is catalog versus infrastructure: Bright Data bundles every data product around its proxies, Oxylabs leans on IP pool depth and enterprise support.

What users actually say

Bright Data, in users’ words

Personally, I recommend Bright Data for everyday use. For most things like LinkedIn, Reddit and so on it is enough, and unless you are doing very high-volume work, the costs are minimal. Some of it even falls under their generous free tier, so it works out worthwhile.

Bright Data is more reliable and more expensive, mainly for LinkedIn, Reddit, or projects that need stability at high volumes. It works excellently at scale in particular.
